Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 / FJ62 Cargo Side Panels – Access Doors These Cargo Side Panels are designed to replace the factory interior panels in the rear cargo area of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 and FJ62, creating a dramatically more durable, functional, and extensible platform for overland and expedition builds. Built for real use, these panels bring modern materials, precision manufacturing, and thoughtful design to one of the most iconic Land Cruiser platforms ever produced. This variation features two access doors per side, making it easy to reach the space and components behind the panels even when the cargo area is fully loaded with gear, a refrigerator, drawers, or storage systems. Access Doors Designed for Real Use The access doors are a primary feature of this system. Each panel includes two removable access doors that allow you to reach factory components, storage areas, and future accessories behind the panels without unloading your vehicle. The doors are secured using high-quality, lockable compression latches and are isolated with adhesive foam to prevent rattles, vibration, and movement. When installed, the doors sit tight and quiet, even on rough roads and trails. For maximum access, the doors are fully removable, making it easy to work in tight quarters where space is limited by cargo or installed systems. Precision Aluminum Construction All panels are manufactured from corrosion-resistant 3 mm 5052 aluminum and fiber laser cut for extreme precision and consistent fit. The result is a lightweight yet incredibly durable replacement for aging factory panels, built to handle decades of use in harsh environments. Every panel is designed, cut, and finished in-house at our production facility in St. George, Utah, allowing us to maintain strict control over quality and future development. Noise-Free, Rattle-Free Design Attention to detail is critical inside a vehicle. These panels are engineered to eliminate common sources of interior noise. Compression latches keep doors firmly preloaded, and adhesive foam isolation prevents metal-on-metal contact, ensuring a solid, quiet install suitable for daily driving and long-distance travel. Finish Options Raw / Unfinished Aluminum: Bare aluminum panels for a clean, industrial look or custom finishing. Textured Black Powder Coat: All components coated in durable textured black. Mil-Spec Liner: Aluminum top surfaces coated in Mil-Spec liner with remaining components in textured black powder coat. Note: If you chose Mil-Spec Liner and want the optional MOLLE panels, the MOLLE panels will be coated in textured black powder coat. Other Color Powder Coat: Additional color options available by request. Speaker Cutout: the speaker cutout shown uses a diameter of 5.7″. You will be required to drill your own speaker connecting holes if you want to back-mount your speakers. There are endless hole patterns for speakers, so pre-cutting the holes isn’t an option. Future-Proof Modular Platform These cargo panels are the foundation of a much larger modular ecosystem currently in development. We are actively designing and testing additional bolt-on accessories and modules that will integrate directly with these panels. Installation No vehicle modification is required. Panels install using black zinc-coated bolts and washers, zinc-coated nylon locknuts, and four well nuts on the passenger side. Installation is straightforward and fully reversible. Fitment and Community Involvement These panels are verified to fit Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 models. As we continue to learn more about fitment across additional 60 Series variations, we will update this page with new photos and details. Notes: This version requires removal of the plastic OEM jack base (if equipped) on the driver’s side This version has cable passthrough cutouts on both the driver and passenger side. As we know more about fitment there may be additional panels created to accommodate differences between the various 60 Series configurations. What’s Included (1) Driver-side cargo panel with dual access doors (1) Passenger-side cargo panel with dual access doors All required mounting hardware (black zinc-coated bolts, washers, nylon locknuts, and well nuts) (2) Keys for the locking latches Assembly of the access door bezels and application of the foam tape is required. To ensure these make it to you in perfect condition (without abrasions in shipping) they are shipped unassembled. Panels are sold as a matched left and right pair. Fun Fact The owner of our company has been a long time Land Cruiser owner. This project was started on his very first Land Cruiser, a FJ60 (the Sky Blue one on other parts of this site), on December 25, 2016.
