1974 Greco Japan EG-550GS Goldtop Les Paul Deluxe w/Mini Humbuckers

Details Made in 1973 for Greco’s 1974 catalog, the EG-550GS was their seldom seen replica of the Norlin era Les Paul Deluxe. Solid pancake body bolted to a rounded C three-piece neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs a reasonable 4.3kg’s. Loaded with the original Maxon made mini humbuckers (designed exclusively for these models) that sound absolutely magnificent, one of the original “goof-strips” is still remaining behind the neck pickup ring otherwise it appears to be close to all original. Cosmetically clean for it’s age with a few signs of general wear and tear as pictured. The frets are worn but are shiny with life left and the neck is straight with an adjustable truss.
