Installed my new deep pockets today. Required about 30 minutes. An installation guide would have been quite helpful, thus only four stars rating. For future buyers: no need to remove the plastic door trim from stock trim panels. The elastic band at the top of the netting has a metal clamp at either end: removing that requires a flat bar or trim tool and a flathead screwdriver. The remainder of the netting is attached to a stiff wire; removing this requires a solid tug at front and back ends to extract. No need to pre-drill: the phillips-head screws are self-tapping. I would like to see an option (or I might modify later) to have a washer and nut on the interior panel side to provide a stronger attachment point to the door panel. Of course, this will require removing two screws towards to bottom of the door, popping off the trim panel, then reaching in to hold the nuts in place. The metal door pockets arrived well-packaged and intact, no damage. The metal has no burrs, clean stamping, and powder-coat finish is well done.. For those questioning if 3″ is a good choice, the new pockets allow for the doors to close without any rubbing or compression against the rear seats. If the seats are up, there seems to be space for a thick molle pouch on the forward half of the pocket. I’ve not had the opportunity yet to inspect clearance with the seats folded down.
