Intercooler Fill/Bleed Port

Description If you find you’re having difficulty bleeding your intercooler, or it seems like air is being introduced to the system after you’ve completed a fill and bleed, it’s possible you could have a leaking fill/bleed port. Place your hand under the bottom of the port and if you notice any amount of fluid, it’s time to replace it. GM does not manufacture the port itself individually, so the whole housing is provided. You can remove the port from the new housing, and install it on the old one still installed on your ATS-V. This will greatly reduce the amount of bleeding that will need to be done after the install as opposed to replacing the entire assembly. Then you’ve got a shiny new piece of aluminum that’s your to do with as you please.
