Details Made in the UK in the mid 1960’s, the “Marvin” was a very famous signature model built for Hank Marvin by Burns London. Solid obeche body bolted to a maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length, 42mm nut width), it weighs 3.4kg’s. Loaded with the famous REZ-O-MATIC single coils along with a nice smooth Burns tremolo system, this one has a replacement toggle switch and some lightly modified wiring but appears to be close to original. Given a full professional service prior to listing, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should. The vintage frets are shiny and play smoothly.
