Details Japanese made in the 1960’s by Teisco, the Firstman Baron took inspiration from the Mosrite and Rickenbacker models being made around the same period. Semi-hollow construction with two diamond shaped “f” holes exposing two chambers around a solid maple centre-block. Bolt-on maple neck with a nice long tenon and 5-bolt neckplate that has a very “Mosrite” profile along with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length), it weighs 3.4kg’s. This one appears close to all original except for some new knobs and received a full professional setup/service prior to listing. Plays nicely for a quirky 60’s build with a functional truss rod, straight neck and shiny vintage frets.
